Gift to Nigerians

We need a gift. In the past few weeks, we've been bombarded with a lot of messages, wish I could say some pleasant, some not so much.

Depends on who you ask though, some might say signing the antigay bill into law is the best thing that could have happened to our nation.

Whilst some have advocated against it because it seeks to quash the right to sexuality.

My opinion? Well, I’m not gay, don’t have them as friends, so the argument that they were born that way, hmm, really if you ask me, who I go ask?

So, we have that, which is unique because I certainly would not have been here, if one of my parents had been gay and believe me, I would use all I have to make sure none of my kids turn out to be gay.

So back to the main gist, power has been so erratic, I find it difficult to differentiate if it’s still under government control or not.

President Jonathan is his well meaning address to Nigeria said he promised to improve on the power situation and that he has, honestly I do not know.

What I do know is this, our able president can give us the gift of making us understand what happened to the 20billion dollars, demanding for an explanation is rude, I think after all, he is the overall head.

He should also please make us understand why despite the fact that he says the government is winning the war against Boko Haram, why they are still causing so much damage.

Yobe, Adamawa, Bornu, etc, all in one week and I would like to just whisper in his ears that those females they carry off, does he not think it’s an avenue to forcefully get them pregnant and then the kids are taught right from their childhood the doctrines of the sect.

They would turn out even more dangerous, the bottom line is this, if they are truly winning the war, we should also see it before they form a colony.

The gift of doing something about madam Okonjo Iweala and madam Alison Madueke, you know since we are all tired of these two women and you all are there to make Nigerians happy, do this for us please

So I hear some people rejected the centenary awards, well one cannot blame them because of the myriad of problems facing the country, one would feel it would be better to do something productive and then you never can tell, they might just change their minds.

Mr President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, I think though that the greatest gift you can give Nigerians and I mean this literally and figuratively is to resign your mandate. Admit you are only human and let someone else try and give us gifts
