Fire outbreak involving a fuel tanker at Oba Akran.

There was an explosion as early as 5.45am this morning at the Mobil petrol filling station, along Oba Akran  road, Ikeja. Five cars and a commercial bus were also reportedly  involved, though no fatalities.

Also six electric power poles were gutted by the fire. Fire services from M.A.N housee, Guiness plc and Lagos State fire service worked together to put out the fire.

A man was injured as a burning electric pole fell on him and he was  rushed to Isalu hospital in the neighborhood.
