I have been wracking my brains trying to grasp the Nigerian situation and im not ashamed to say i failed.
Yea, i failed but im one of the minority that can say that boldly in Nigeria without thinking about a myriad of factors that would make me hold on to a sinking ship and smile and pretend like i know what i am doing, whereas i dont.
Hmmm, Nigeria my bold, beautiful nation, blessed with a whole lot of resources, a population that strikes across, the ignorant, the i dont care as long as i am ok, the always looking for an angle that would get me something and of course, the all powerful uncaring leaders.
Anyways let me go back to what brought on all this rambling, our very good Minister of Defence of the Federal republic of Nigeria was doing his duty and people are criticising him, why i just wonder.
This very good man, Senator Musuliu Obanikoro, left Abuja to come to Lagos to help claim a land that belongs to the Federal Government and people are shouting.
Was is not in this country that a former minister spent 255b to acquire bullet proof vehicles, are we not still looking for a certain 20b, that caused the suspension of a central bank governor.
Hmmm, one minister is being probed for 10b spent on jet, there is no power supply, people are dying everyday due to terrorist attacks, medical insufficiencies, kidnappings, robberies, forests of horrors etc.
Now, this land im quite sure they have been looking for a way to get back from Lagos State government, never mind the fact that the senator was a former aspirant for the same post at a point in time.
He came in and he said, we must get back this land and he went and got armed legal men to get it back.
For those of you shouting about Boko Haram, that why is he not doing something about that, a proverb says when trees fall upon each other, you remove the top one first.
Do you know the security breach posed, if he did not go and collect that land back, maybe we would have been invaded by now, we have to thank that man.
President Goodluck Jonathan must be so pleased to have such a man in his cabinet, someone who can order people around and say let us go and collect the land back.
After all, we have the ministers for works and housing, environment and all that, but it is a defence issue really.
Thumbs up to you, Senator Musuliu Obanikoro, so any more FG properties that have been stylishly stolen, please collect and defend, thats your job.
I heard whispers about Ebola, would give you full details about this terrible disease later, but the main gist is people who are not in government are whispering that its here in the country and the government is saying no it is not.
Ok, i would just do what i have been doing all along, listen and form my own opinion, tapping into the resource that absolutely never dries up in Nigeria..........HOPE
