Borno State Governor, Others Invited By The Presidency Over Chibok Attack.

Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima, his commissioner for education, Comrade Musa Inuwa Kubo, the principal of Government Girls’ Secondary School, Chibok, Mrs. Asabe Kwabura and the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Chibok have been reportedly invited by the presidency over the Chibok attack and abduction of 276 female students in Borno.

A source close to the commissioner for education, Comrade Inuwa Musa Kubo revealed this on Saturday, in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.

He stated that he did not know whether the commissioner, who left the state Saturday morning by road could make it to the meeting schedule for 2 o’clock at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.
“My boss left this morning”, he said, adding that “they were invited over the abduction of female students. This situation has been giving the government sleepless night.

“In fact, since the day these girls were abducted, my boss has not had any rest. I don’t know why the presidency want to see them, but I know that early this week, they met with the governor at the government House to discuss Chibok issue.

“Perhaps, it has to do with why they are going to Abuja, but the invitation is too sudden”.
DailyPost gathered that, the Governor, who attended a wedding at the PDP national chairman’s house in Bauchi is heading from there to Abuja where he is expected at the meeting with the President.
It would be recalled that since the attack on Chibok last two weeks, figures of the abducted female students have continued to go up and down as no government official can specifically give correct figure or explain the situation to the satisfaction of many Nigerians begging for answers on the abduction of the female students in Chibok.

There have been numerous calls on the government to secure the release of the girls that were abducted with concerns for their welfare. Celebrities in and outside the country have also lent their voices to the #BringBackOurGirls  Call.
