IG's First Son Narrowly Escapes Death.




Jamyl Abubakar, son of Nigeria’s Inspector General of police, narrowly escaped death on Saturday, May 10, after his IRS plane crash-landed in Niger Republic.

The aircraft, Fokker 100, belonging to IRS airlines crash-landed at about 7:30pm on Saturday on its way back to Nigeria after a routine maintenance check , commonly called ‘C checks.’

The two people on-board the aircraft, the pilot and co-pilot, survived the crash. The IG's son was the co- pilot.

Jamyl had previously tweeted the photos of the brand new looking 5N-SIK plane and that he was excited about flying it.
