Sad: 5 Year- Old Boy Given A Super hero Funeral

Brayden Denton, a five years old boy from Indiana  was diagonised with a rare form of brain cancer called DIPG [ diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma] in April last year. He passed away on May 8^th,  and  his  mother decided to give him a funeral celebrating the things he loved most – superheroes.

Staci Denton, whose son Brayden died of a brain tumour earlier this month, wanted to do away with the suits and dresses and have her boy’s loved ones representing the superheroes that he adored.
‘He was a huge Spider-Man fan,’ said Mrs Denton.

‘He had to quit just liking Spider-Man because he had all the toys. So really he liked every superhero.’

Pallbearers at the funeral – dressed as Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Thor, The Hulk, and Iron Man – carried Brayden’s body.

Brayden’s uncle Cory Denton, who was dressed as Thor, said: ‘It was hard, but I did it for him. We went to the Superman movie with him and he was dressed up as Superman.

‘I watched all the Iron Mans with him.’

And Cory says Brayden will be with him every time he goes to watch a superhero movie.

‘He’s always here with me, and I’ll always watch them with him because he is always with me,’ he said.
