Madwoman arrested with ‘Ghana-must-go’ bag containing dead boy’s body at Mile 2, Lagos



Detectives attached to the Lagos state police command made a gruesome discovery, on Sunday when they arrested a woman, suspected to be mad at the Mile 2 area of, Lagos State in possession of a dead boy whose eyes and tongue had been cut out.


According to an eyewitness, the woman was apprehended in the afternoon on top of the Mile 2 Bridge, as she was heading towards Apapa-Wharf.

It was gathered that the ‘Mad woman’ was apprehended by a team of OPMESA operatives after a passer-bye raised the alarm. The woman was in possession of two ‘Ghana-must-go bags’.

 According to reports from the New Telegraph, one of the bags contained rags, while the other contained the dead body of the boy, said to be between three and four years old. 

The boy’s eyes and tongued had been removed. The dead boy wore shorts and a polo shirt. The woman on the hand was said to be putting on skirt and blouse and the blouse was covered with dried bloodstains. 

While she was being questioned by OPMESA operatives, the woman claimed that the dead boy was her son. When she was however asked to explain what happened to his eyes and tongue, she kept mute.

 When contacted the Deputy Police spokesman in Lagos State, Lelma Kollen, said the information had just reached him and he was still trying to track the police station handling the matter so as to get the true picture and fact of what happened.
