A Prophet with a Celestial Church of Christ, CCC, the
Gethsemane Parish, Superior Evangelist Isaiah Adebola, his pregnant wife and
another couple have died mysteriously in Otugbua area of Offin-Ile in Ikorodu,
Lagos.
As at the time of this report, nobody could ascertain the
cause of the death but the four of them were reportedly found dead with their
bodies already decomposing, after being missing for days.
“The visitor was his brother in-law, Femi aka One-man Mopol.
He asked my father to come and pray for his pregnant wife who had some health
complications after dinner. My parents followed him to his house and that was
the last time they were seen alive.” The prophet’s son told Vanguard.
The church embarked on a fasting and prayer session and a
search party was also put in place, but they were not found till several days
later, when neighbours started noticing swarm of flies and terrible odour
within One-man Mopol’s residence.
The building was locked from within, thereby preventing
people from gaining access into the house. After a failed effort to gain entry
into the house, the local security organisation in Ikorodu which was invited by
the CDA, climbed the roof of the building through a pidgeon hole.
To their greatest disbelief, they found the remains of the
cleric and his wife as well as that of One-man Mopol and his wife. Two of the
corpses were allegedly lying in the pool of their own blood while foam was
oozing out from One-man Mopol’s mouth. His deceased wife was said be having a
mould of food on her hand.
“The owner of the house, whom we always referred to as Baba
Ayo, was an artisan while his wife was a tricycle rider within Ikorodu and they
were always having misunderstandings. Nobody knows what caused their death to
date because their decomposed bodies were buried by the policemen who came from
the Igbogbo Police Station, almost immediately after the discovery was made
that Wednesday.” an eyewitness told Vanguard.
