Vice-Chairman of Sun Newspapers , Dimgba Igwe, is dead.
The associate publisher of Entertainment weekly magazine was

area of Lagos. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died. He was just
58 years old.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital after the accident but was
pronounced dead on arrival.
“Yes it’s true. He was my boss, he was my mentor, I feel
devastated about his death. This time last week, we were together at the NGE
conference only to find out about his death this morning,” Mr Adeshina, who is
also the Editor-in-Chief of Sun Newspaper, said.
Chairman of the Sun Publishing Limited, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu,
described the incident as the darkest day in the history of the organisation.
Dimgba alongside his best best friend Mike Awoyinfa,
pioneered the now rested Weekend Concord newspaper and The Sun Newspaper.
The veteran journalist, until his death, was the Assistant
General overseer of Evangel Pentecostal Church, Lagos.
May his soul Rest in peace. Amen
