Fans Livid At Being Served Groundnuts At Iyanya's Album Launch, After Paying 400K For A Table.

Everyday we learn a lesson, when you are paying for something, you need to ask what exactly am i paying for? Some people learnt the lesson the hard way, fans are livid at the refreshment served at Iyanya's (one of Nigeria's star artist) album launch. According to them they were served GROUNDNUTS!!  **** smh

A fan who bought a VIP table for N400,000 just to surprise his wife, he was shocked to see the only refreshment was a bottle of Hennessey and groundnuts.

According to him:

    "When I told my wife that I got a table at Iyanya's album launch, she was ecstatic because the singer is one of her favourites. It came to us as a rude shock when we were served groundnuts and Hennessy. I mean we paid N400,000 just to be given groundnuts?"


MMMG CEO, Ubi Franklin was reported to have said , he wasn't in charge of refreshments and the N400,000 per table was for VIPs to watch Iyanya's premium performance.

Ubi said:

    "Go and check Iyanya's promotion for the album, we did not promise anybody that we would put anything on the table. If you are sitting on the table, it is premium. Iyanya gave them a proper show for three hours. Iyanya and I were not in charge of what would be put on the table."
