Omawumi Storms Out Of Interview When Asked About Drinking And Smoking Habits.

Really it's a year for Nigerian celebs, drama keeps popping out almost on a daily basis, now it's one of my personal favorites, Omawumi who sat down  for “Da Chat” with Zinnia, a show on HFtv Africa recently where she opened up about her career and personal life.

It was a really interesting interview with the singer switching her responses in both English and Pidgin, the fall out came when she was asked if she smokes and drinks. She did not find the question funny at all, even though the interviewer said it was only to clear up a rumour. Omawumi said:

Have you seen me smoking before?

Zinnia: No.

So why would you say that? Now you see me as an artiste. I am contributing what I can. I make music the way that I should. And I come here I honour your invitation. And you’re supposed to mean me well.

Do you mean me well?

Zinnia: Of course I do.

So why would you say something that you’re not sure about?
