Chibok Boy confesses to razing houses in Borno village for N2,000

Ibrahim Tilitili, a young boy from Chibok where over 200 girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram  has confessed to razing a few houses in his small village in Mandara Girau village in Biu LGA of Borno state. Ibrahim had set three houses ablaze,  before he was apprehended by some brave villagers, he claimed a man named Mallam Sani, also a resident of the village, gave him N2,000 to carry out the arson.

The youths had wanted to lynch the young boy when elders in the village intervened and he was instead arrested and taken to Sarkin Baka- renown hunter in Biu town, where he confessed to being instructed to set the houses ablaze. He then led the vigilante in the area to the man who claimed asked him to do it. Both were arrested and handed over to police in Biu town
