Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of Kano State has said that the new Emir of Kano would be announced on
Sunday. He made the disclosure based on the visit paid to him by
Kano kingmakers who submitted the shortlist to the Governor. Its said the list
contains three names.
The kingmakers are Madakin Kano, Sarkin Bai, Sarkin Dawakin
Mai’tuta, and Makaman Kano.
