The Lagos state government has announced that at least 8
suspected cases of the dreaded Ebola virus has been reported in the city.
All 8 suspected cases are people who came in contact with
the first victim, Liberia’s Patrick Sawyer, who died in Lagos shortly after his
arrival to Nigeria.
Confirming the
reports, Lagos state commissioner of health, Jide Idris said that 2 cases have
been confirmed, while the other 6 are still under observation.
