WORLD CUP: Carlos Tevez Left Out Of Argentina Squad...

Juventus striker Carlos Tevez is unlikely to be selected by Alejandro Sabella as part of the Argentina squad for the 2014 World Cup. Fans are upset with this decision and took to the streets of Buenos Aires with flags and banners demanding that the striker be included in the squad.

Although Tevez has scored 21 goals for Juventus this season, he has a disappointing goal ratio of 1 in every 5 games for his country. He also hasn’t appeared in a single game of the World Cup qualifying campaign with manager Alejandro Sabella preferring Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain and Tevez’s former Manchester City. teammate Sergio Aguero as forwards with midfielders Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and Ezequiel Lavezzi for support.

Tevez last played for Argentina in 2011 before the appointment of Alejandro Sabella and has scored only 13 goals in 64 appearances for his country.

Meanwhile, it seems Carlos is not so bothered as he says he will be at disneyland during the tournament.
