Contrary to reports, Bobbi Kristina Brown has not been taken
off life support, Access Hollywood has learned.
While it has been widely reported that she is on a
ventilator, and remains in a coma, there was never any official confirmation
that Bobbi is -- or has been -- on life support since being hospitalized last
week.
On Thursday, Access exclusively spoke to Bobby in Atlanta.
"How is your daughter doing?" Access asked the
singer.
"She's good," he said of his 21-year-old daughter,
who he had with the late Whitney Houston.
"We're praying," Bobby added.
"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is
surrounded by immediate family," the Houston family said in a statement on
Monday.
"As her father already stated, we are asking you to
honor our request for privacy during this difficult time," the statement
continued. "Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly
appreciate your continued support.
Bobby also issued a statement this week regarding his
daughter and cleared up reports that she had previously married Nick Gordon.
“We are currently investigating the events that led to the
hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina," Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen
LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown, said in a statement on Tuesday evening. “To
correct earlier reports, Bobbi Kristina is not and has never been married to
Nick Gordon.”
Adding, “We continue to request privacy in this matter.
Please allow for our family to deal with this matter and give Bobbi Kristina
the love and support she needs at this time."
